1

Come here, O mighty ones, the Ṛbhus; do not stay far off, O Sudhanvan’s children. At this offering, you bring your precious gift. May joyful drinks come near you after Indra’s.

2

Here comes the Ṛbhus’ gift of riches; here they drank the pressed Soma, Since by skill and craftsmanship, you made a single chalice into four.

3

You made the chalice fourfold, single one; you spoke these words, friend, help us. Then, Vājas! You gained the path of eternal life, skilled Ṛbhus, to the gods’ assembly.

4

From what material was that chalice made, which you fourfold by your art and wisdom? Now press out the Soma drink, and drink, O Ṛbhus, of its mead.

5

You, with your cleverness, made your parents young; with cleverness, you shaped the cup for gods to drink; With cleverness, Ṛbhus, rich in treasure, you fashioned the swift brown horses that carry Indra.

6

Whosoever pours for you, when days close, the sharp offering for your joy, O Vājas, For him, O mighty Ṛbhus, you, rejoicing, have made wealth with many heroes.

7

Lord of the swift steeds, at dawn you drink the juice; only yours is the noonday offering. Drink now with the Ṛbhus who made you friends, O Indra, with wealth bestowing.

8

You, whose artistic skill has raised you to divinity, place you high in heaven like falcons. Give us riches, Sudhanvan’s children, O mighty ones; you have become immortal.

9

This third offering, which you won by skill, dexterous-handed— This drink has been poured for you, O Ṛbhus. Drink it with great joy, like Indra’s.
