Worship the Vasus, Agni! Here, the Rudras, the Ādityas, all Those born from Manu, those who know fair rites, who pour their blessings down.

Agni, the Gods who understand give ear to the worshipper: Lord of Red Steeds, who loves song, bring those Three-and-Thirty Gods.

O Jātavedas, great in action, listen to Praskaṇva's call, As Priyamedha did before, Atri, Virūpa, Aṅgiras.

The sons of Priyamedha skilled in lofty praise have called for help On Agni who with radiant flame is Ruler of all holy rites.

Hear these praises, invoked with holy oil, generous giver of rewards, By the sons of Kaṇva to call thee to their aid.

O Agni, beloved by many, you of most wondrous fame, in their homes Men call on you whose hair is flame, to bear their offerings.

Agni, best to find wealth, widely known, quick to hear, Singers have established in rites Herald and priestly assistant.

Singers with Soma pressed have made you, Agni, hasten to the feast, Great light to mortal worshipper, when they bring the sacred gift.

Good, bountiful, Son of Strength, today seat the Gods here on sacred grass Who come at dawn, the heavenly host, to drink the Soma juice.

Bring with joint invocations, O Agni, the celestial host: Here stands the Soma, bountiful Gods drink this expressed yesterday.
