The Ox shines with the Deities, dear Sage in his rightful home, Foe-slayer, most beloved by the gods.

Taking each beautiful form, he goes, desirable, pure, Thither where the immortals sit.

To Indra, Soma flows, the Red, wise song-giver, exceeding wise, The guest of living men.
