Sing forth to Indu, oh men, to the pure one we offer worship.
Together with your sweet nectar, the Atharvans have mixed milk,
Divine, dedicated to the Devas.
Bring, by your flow, prosperity to cattle, to the people, to horses.
Prosperity, O King, to the growth of plants.
Praise Soma, brown in hue, of great might.
The Red One reaching up to the heavens.
Purify Soma as it is poured, with stones that swiftly move,
And pour the sweet milk into the meath.
With humble reverence, bring near; mix the libation with the curds:
Offer Indu to Indu, to Indra.
Soma, the chief who overcomes foes, fulfilling the will,
Bestow prosperity on our cattle.
Heart-knower, Sovereign of the heart, you are infused, O Soma,
That Indra may drink you and be joyful.
O Soma Pavamana, grant us wealth and heroic strength—
Indu! With Indra as ally.
