YES, through your sweet nectar, holy ones, the Maruts rejoice at the sacrifices. They make the wide sky and earth tremble, they bring the spring when they arrive, the Mighty.
The Maruts guard the one who praises them, the ones who promote thoughts of those who worship. Sit down on sacred grass in our assembly, today, with kind hearts, to share the feast.
No other shines as brightly as these Maruts with their own forms, their golden ornaments, their weapons. With all their adornments, beautifying the earth and sky, they enhance, for a splendid sight, their shared glory.
Far from us be your fiery dart, O Maruts, when we, through human weakness, sin against you. May we not be exposed to that, holy ones! May your most loving favor still be with us.
May what we do please the Maruts, the blameless ones, the bright ones, the purifiers. Further us, holy ones, with your kindness; advance us mightily that we may prosper.
May the Maruts, praised by all their titles, heroes, enjoy the taste of our offerings. Give us of Amṛta for the sake of offspring: awaken the excellent, abundant stores of wealth.
Hither, ye Maruts, praised, with all your aids, with all felicity, come to our princes, Who, of themselves, multiply us a hundredfold. Preserve us evermore, gods, with blessings.
