1

Ye generous Heroes, Vājas and Bhūrukṣas, come and enjoy our flowing Soma. May your strength, Vibhus, as you come to meet us, turn hitherward your chariot that brings men profit.

2

May we, like the Bhūrukṣas, with your Bhūrukṣas conquer strength with our strength, as Vibhus with the Vibhus. May Vāja help us in the fight for loot, and with Indra’s aid may we subdue the foe.

3

For they rule many tribes with high dominion, and conquer all their foes in close combat. May Indra, Vibhvan, Vāja, and Bhūrukṣa destroy the wicked foe’s valor, one by one.

4

Now, Deities, give us ample space and freedom: be all of you, one-minded, our protectors. So may the Vasus grant us strength and vigor. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
