1

Where has this hymn, like an honored envoy, found both fair gods today, invoked by many men? Hymn that brought the two Nāsatyas here? Be both gods in my thoughts, most friendly to me.

2

Come readily to this my invocation, praised with songs, so that you may drink the juices. Keep this house from the foe, neither near nor far, that none may force it.

3

In a spacious place, juices have been prepared for you to feast. For you, the grass is spread, most soft to tread upon. With raised hands, my servant has worshiped you. The pressing stones pour out the liquid, yearning for you.

4

Agni lifts up at your sacrifices, offering drops of oil and glowing flames. The grateful priest stands up, chosen and appointed to invoke the two Nāsatyas.

5

Lords of great wealth! For glory, Sūrya's daughter rode in your chariot that brings a hundred helpers. Famous for your magical arts, heroes among the gods!

6

You two, with these glorious sights, brought rich gifts for Sūrya to win victory. After you flew your birds, wonders of beauty. Dear to our hearts, the song reached you well-praised.

7

May your winged horses, best to draw Nāsatyas, carry you to what you desire. Swift as thought, your chariot was sent onward to many sorts of food and delicious dishes.

8

Lords of great wealth, your bounty is manifold. You filled our cow with food that never fails. Lovers of sweetness! Praise and singers, and libations seeking your favor.

9

My mares of Puraya, brown and swift-footed, had a hundred with Sumidha, food with Peruk. Sanda gave ten gold-decked, well-trained horses, tame and obedient, of lofty stature.

10

Nāsatyas! Purupanthas offered hundreds, thousands of steeds to the singer who praised you. Gave, Heroes! To Bharadvāja, slaughter the fiends.

11

May I share your bliss with princes in freedom.
