1
O Varuṇa, three lights, three skies, three firmaments you encompass, O Mitra: You are strong, you guard the splendor of rule, preserving the eternal law.
2
You, Varuṇa, have cattle that provide sustenance; Mitra, your rivers pour sweet waters. There stand the Three Cattle, radiant in brilliance, filling the three world-cups with bountiful moisture.
3
At dawn, I call upon Aditi, the Goddess, at midday, and when the Sun sets. I pray, O Mitra-Varuṇa, for safety, wealth, and offspring, in peace and turmoil.
4
You who uphold the region, the bright sphere, you who support Earth’s divine realms, Immortal Gods, O Varuṇa and Mitra, Never do you alter your everlasting laws.
