WE establish you as Manu did, as Manu did we light you. Like Manu, for the pious man, Aṅgiras, Agni, worship the Devas.

For well, O Agni, you are pleased when you are kindled among mankind. Ladles go straight to you, you noble God whose food is oil.

All gods agree in establishing you as their messenger. Men adore you as a god at sacrifices, O Sage.

May mortal man worship your God, Agni, with proper reverence for the Devas. Shine forth enkindled, Radiant One. Sit in the chamber of the Law, sit in the chamber of the food.
