1

O Indra, drink this Soma, pressed in the mortar, full of sweetness. Send down to us great wealth— at your joyful feast, in thousands, O Most Healthy. You are growing great.

2

With sacrifices, oblations, and praises, we come to you. Lord of all strength and might, grant at your joyful feast the finest treasure. You are growing great.

3

You who are Lord of precious gifts, inciter of the slothful. Guardian of singers, Indra— at your joyful feast save us from sorrow and hatred. You are growing great.

4

Strong, Lords of magical power, you two churned the united worlds apart, When you, beseeched by Vimada, Nāsatyas, separated the pair.

5

When the united pair were torn apart, all the gods complained. The gods called to the Nāsatyas, "Bring them back together once more."

6

May my departure be sweet, and my arrival rich in sweetness. So, through your Deity, both gods, enrich us with all pleasantness.
