1

This very powerful one, whom the gods command, the conqueror of chariots, ever victorious, Swift and swift-footed, with unharmed feet, even Tārkṣya for our benefit, we call him here.

2

As if we offer our gifts to Indra, may we ascend him as a ship for safety. Like the two vast worlds, wide and deep, may we be safe both when he arrives and departs.

3

He who has spread his might across the Five Lands, like Sūrya with his radiance, and the waters— His strength wins hundreds, none can turn it back, as a young maiden stands firm against her lover.
