Be with us; I have chosen you: stand steadfast and unmoving.
Let all the people wish for you, let your kingship not fall away.
Be even here; do not fall away, be like a mountain unremoved.
Stand steadfast here like Indra himself, and hold the kingship in your grasp.
This man has Indra established, made secure by strong oblations' power.
May Soma bless him, and Brahmāṇaspati, on him.
The sky is firm, the earth is firm, and these hills are also steadfast.
All this living world is steadfast, and this King of men is also steadfast.
Steadfast, may Varuṇa the King, steadfast, the God Bṛhaspati,
Steadfast, may Indra, steadfast too, may Agni keep your steadfast reign.
Think of constant Soma with constant sacrifice,
And then may Indra make the clans bring tribute only to you.
