1

Come, Indra, and be delighted with the Soma juice at all feasts, Protector, mighty in your strength.

2

Pour forth the Soma juice to Indra, this joy-bringing juice to him, The joy-bringing, all-powerful God.

3

You Lord of all men, fair-skinned, rejoice in the joyous hymns, Present at these drink-offerings.

4

Songs have risen to you, Indra, the strong, the guardian Lord, And they have risen unsatisfied.

5

Send us manifold abundance, O Indra, worthy of our wish, For only you possess supreme power.

6

Indra, stir up in us a desire for wealth, glorious and splendid, Most splendid One.

7

Give, Indra, wide and lofty fame, rich in cattle and strength, Lasting our lives, never failing.

8

Grant us high fame, O Indra, riches that bring thousands, these Fruits of the earth carried home in wagons.

9

Praising with songs the worthy one who comes to our aid, we call Indra, the Wealth-Lord of treasure.

10

Sing aloud a strengthening hymn to Indra, the Lord of wealth, Who dwells by each libation, the pious man.
