Maghavan, graciously listen to our songs, do not neglect us.

As you made us joyful, Indra, now yoke your two bay horses.

2

They have eaten and rejoiced; the friends have risen and gone. The wise ones, radiant within, praised you with their final hymn. Now, Indra, yoke your two bay horses.

3

Maghavan, we will honor you, so fair to behold. Praised as we wish, come now with a richly laden chariot. Now, Indra, yoke your two bay horses.

4

He will indeed ascend the powerful chariot that seeks the cows, Who thinks of the well-filled bowl, the one who harnesses the tawny steeds. Now, Indra, yoke your two bay horses.

5

May the Lord of a Hundred Powers harness your steeds on the right and left. With rapture at the juice, draw near to your beloved spouse. Now, Indra, yoke your two bay horses.

6

With holy prayer, I yoke your long-hoofed pair of bays: come hitherward; You hold them in both your hands. The libations poured, you have rejoiced with Pūṣa and your spouse.
