1

O BRAHMANASPATHI, make Kakṣīvān Auśija glorious, Even the rich one, healer of diseases, giver of wealth, one who increases stores, The prompt one, may he be with us still.

2

Let not the foe’s curse, let not a mortal’s assault fall upon us; Preserve us, BRAHMANASPATHI.

3

May Indra, BRAHMANASPATHI, and Soma graciously inspire the mortal hero, Ne’er is the mortal hero harmed by them.

4

Do, thou, O BRAHMANASPATHI, and Indra, Soma, Dakṣiṇā, Preserve that mortal from distress.

5

To the Assembly’s wondrous Lord, to Indra’s lovely friend who gives Wisdom, have I drawn near in prayer.

6

He without whom no sacrifice, even of the wise man, prospers; Stirring the sequence of thoughts.

7

He makes the offering prosper, he promotes the course of sacrifice: Our praise voice goes to the gods.

8

I have seen Narāśaṁsa, him most resolute, most widely renowned, As if the household priest of heaven.
